Position Summary...
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Data Analytics to lead and execute our data strategy and initiatives with a specific focus on cross functional partnerships and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in data analytics, business understanding, and data management.This role will be critical in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming data into actionable insights for business owners, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities
· Data Source Identification: Identify suitable data sources, perform initial data quality checks, and prioritize requirements.
· Exploratory Data Analysis: Apply statistical techniques, conduct experiments, and guide junior members in data tools.
· Understanding Business Context: Translate business requirements into strategic initiatives, build business cases, and drive business impact
· Data Visualization and Storytelling: Recommend and utilize appropriate visualization tools, generate graphical representations, and present data stories that clearly communicate insights to business leaders.
· Actionable Insights: Transform data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and strategic initiatives across the organization, with a specific focus on Contact and Operation Excellence.
· Data Quality Management: Develop data quality strategies, implement Data Quality Management (DQM) procedures, and lead data quality initiatives.
· People Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing data analytics team through effective mentoring, training, and performance management.
· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectives.
Skills:
· Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
· Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Google BigQuery and SQL mandatory. Python nice to have.).
· Strong understanding of data management and governance.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.
Minimum Qualifications...
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance or related field
· 5 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree preferred.
· 8 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, statistics, or related field.
