Position Summary...
The Senior Analyst, Benefits and Wellbeing, provides strategic insight and expertise in administering, governing, and designing benefits and wellbeing programs. The candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of benefit and retirement programs, and will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and ensuring program regulatory compliance. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support decision-making processes and stakeholder management.This role ensures alignment with organizational strategies, optimizes vendor partnerships, and enhances associate support and engagement.
What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits and Retirement Program Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of all programs, identifying trends, issues, benchmarking and potential areas for enhancement. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on benefit program performance, utilization, and financial impact. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor the performance and utilization of all programs.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to manage plans and resolve stakeholder issues in a timely manner. Monitor vendor performance to ensure vendors meet service level agreements.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the analysis, development and implementation of strategic initiatives that meets the needs of all associate segments while addressing stakeholder requirements.
- Stakeholder Support: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including plan participants, HR, Finance, Executives, and external auditors. Provide communication and education support on programs to stakeholders. Create and distribute clear, concise communication materials about all programs as required across all communication channels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to align programs with overall company objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all benefit programs comply with federal and provincial laws and regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits and pension analysis, administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
