(CAN) Associate Manager, Process - Direct Store Delivery

Position Summary...
Reporting to the Manager, Direct Store Delivery, this role will be responsible for acquiring cross-functional alignment between vendors in the DOME project, vendor program consistency and fairness, and for establishing criteria for the different shipment methods (direct store delivery, ship to DC, 3PL). The role will ensure governance and compliance by auditing vendor program/scheduling and reviewing current direct store delivery vs. ship to DC practices. The incumbent will facilitate collaboration and communication between the Analytics and Operations stream to ensure continuous improvement and compliance of the DOME project. This role will have two direct reports.What you'll do...
1. Own the governance process of DOME to ensure all changes and requests are processed through correct channels with appropriate levels of approval. Prioritize critical tasks and ensure consistency in the program. Advise on governance and compliance internally.
2. Lead the governance and compliance function of the DOME project externally by having conversations with vendors regarding non-compliance and work with partners on a resolution. Proficiency in project management and experience managing complex long-term projects. Excellent business and technical communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with partners from diverse backgrounds. Negotiate with vendors on key deadlines to ensure the goals of each phase are met.
3. Lead the establishment and maintenance of the criteria used for DSD, ship to DC, or 3PL and conduct ongoing governance of adherence to these criteria. Develop recommendations and forecasting for internal partners based on established criteria.
4. Proactively identify opportunities and gaps, advise on problem-solving strategies, and lead further continuous improvement efforts (e.g. add overnight receiving regionally where needed).
Advise the team on any potential risks regarding vendors, stores or internal partners, with viable recommendations for problem solving. Interpret and turn complex data into reports and presentations that are easily digestible for senior leadership.
5. Support the 5-year DOME strategy by aligning the Analytics and Operations teams on shared objectives and goals, as well as store operations, merchants and vendors.
6. Develop contingency plans for DOME both before and after the product launch, while planning for DOME to support the current DC network.
