Position Summary...

As a Manager, Category Marketing, you will be responsible for contributing to driving growth of the Entertainment category. This role is accountable for developing strategic annual and agile marketing plans aligned to enterprise priorities, owning end to end omni channel execution, and integrating category and seasonal strategies to deliver business results. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and self directed, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, sharp strategic thinking, and the ability to identify and act on opportunities that drive meaningful growth and impact.

What you'll do...

  • Own the endtoend customer journey for the Entertainment business, from ideation through execution, translating business objectives into customer-first strategies and brand-right marketing plans that deliver against enterprise priorities.

  • Lead end-to-end execution of priority initiatives, partnering closely with various stakeholders to ensure all deliverables align to strategy and achieve results. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Site Experience, Store Operations, Brands, and Agencies to translate business goals into clear, customer-facing marketing direction.

  • Identify and action category growth opportunities by leveraging customer insights, data, and market trends, translating them into actionable plans. Develop clear performance reporting and post‑campaign readouts, translating results into insights and recommendations for future planning and investment decisions.

  • Lead quarterly merchant planning and participate in joint-business planning with vendors,  building detailed omni-channel plans, spanning owned channels, media, and in-store execution.

  • Drive integrated media and communications planning, working with channel managers, digital teams, and agencies, to build cohesive, customer-facing omni-channel marketing plans from strategy through activation.

  • Manage budgets and ensure business alignment, including financial planning, approvals, and ongoing investment stewardship to maximize impact and return.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Retail, Agency, or related roles, with a track record of driving measurable outcomes

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives (as an Individual Contributor) and delivering results in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including brand and product launches

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across levels, both internally and externally

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, sales dashboards, analytics dashboards  

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize data (from various sources) and translate into clear business recommendations

  • Ability to define, track, and report on KPIs such as conversion rate, ROI, ROAS, traffic, engagement, NPS and Market Share

The pay range for this position is $91,900.00 - $126,390.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
